Your bbq is the best in the country! We are glad to hear that you plan to rebuild this year. Look forward to coming back to your original location for the best pulled pork and brisket anywhere around! Rock on!

Ladies, we are so, so thrilled to find you!! We met you at Hawk's Praire on a January morning in 2004, the day you signed the lease for the Ranch House building. We had been dying to get out and see you again and had our tastebuds all set.. Actually, I am pretty sure I was drooling on the way out there this past Tuesday (3/4/08) late morning, seriously!!

Imagine our surprise to see your beautiful, cozy little ranch washed out!! Again, we are thrilled to find you all healthy and back to work suppling us incredibly lucky Washitionians with the best darn BBQ, well, that we've ever had... See ya soon at the Governer Hotel!!!

Namaste, The Millers

I was driving by the Governor House a few nights ago and couldn't believe the crowd in the restaurant. I wondered what was going on. Now I know! I trust word is spreading fast. I can't wait to come down and try the brisket. Of course the view won't be the same, but on the plus side, I am SO much closer now to the BBQ I love. Best wishes for your continued success!

Here I live in the most easterly point of Australia and I'm allergic to seafood. Everyone talks about the aussies and their barbies "What? a sausage, steak, some onion and shrimp(ugh!)". Oh how I wish I could be there in Olympia sitting down to some spareribs and even a 'pulled' pork sandwich whatever that is. Hope all goes well and hope to be sitting in your restaurant one day.

Very happy to live in a community that has so much to give and that gives so much in times of need.

Here is a thought, why not take some flyers down to Ocean Shores and Westport to leave at the area hotels and motels. I know many folks who loved the old Ranch who would stop during travels to the coast. Many may not know of your good fortune to be up and running in downtown Oly! I have been passing the word as best I can.

Always enjoy the meals at the Ranch, no matter where it is! First visits were back in the 60's (yes way before your time) having blackberry pie with my Grandparents... Best of luck to you both and all your crew.

THANK YOU to those great people at the Governer House.. and thank you for not letting a little mud get in your eye!

Peace
